My experience in putting a desktop together
My experience in putting a desktop together so far has been great. I have learned a lot of things. For example I have learned where the RAM goes, where the CPU goes, and where the Mother Board goes. All these things make the computer work. All those things go inside the case. The case is the metal or plastic box that contains all the primary computer parts. Inside the case goes the Mother Board, on the Mother Board goes the RAM witch is connected to the Mother Board. The CPU goes on the Mother Board too. RAM is a skinny rectangle that has gold pins that connect to the Mother Board. The CPU is usually in the center of the Mother Board and it’s connected to it. CPU is a flat thin chip that has integrated circuits. Mother board is a printed circuit board. The Mother Board allows the CPU and the RAM to work.
BIOS
BIOS gives you information about the computer and information about the settings the computer has. It gives you information like the memory speed, the processor type and more. BIOS starts to run by the PC when the PC is first turned . The main function of BIOS is to start the hardware. The BIOS starts before the operating system does.
Bios boot process
First BIOS does the power on self test or POST. Then the BIOS searches for and loads OS,MBR or Master BOOT Record tells the computer how to load the OS . After that BIOS loads the operating system to the RAM. Finally, the OS finds the application software. The user will give the OS instructions.

I have used the puppy program and windows. I understand that OS is operating system and its how the computers executes files. 4 software are Windows, Linux, Mac, and UNIX. The difference between an OS and SW is that OS does a computer’s basic functions like executing applications and software are programs and other operating information used by a computer
